Praeter Tempestas is a collaboration between Director Michael Seater, and Creative Director Jordan Robin. This short-form advertorial piece was shot in the Angeles National Forest in the wake of a destructive winter storm that closed down many natural areas in Southern California. A moving portrait of real-life couple actress Kathleen Munroe and Sophie Munroe Blumenthal, the film blurs fantasy and reality as the pair emerges in a lush, sensory outdoor world, with TOTC pocket perfume in tow. From cloudless sky, to electric green moss, to the Driade chair unexpectedly found in the foothills of the forest, the couple occupies a surreal space of ease and beauty in nature that echoes the intention of the brand’s fragrances.
